About Island for Rent - The Lost Lake House

Welcome to Lost Lake House, situated on the shores of Lost Lake in the midst of Hiawatha Forest. This 100 acre lake is big enough to handle all of your outdoor interests, from jet skiing to fishing and water skiing. The lake has a plentiful supply of Pan fish, Northern Pike, Bass and a variety of other species with several other lakes within a short driving distance. The Lost Lake Island is accessible by small driveable bridge.

Enjoy your stay in Alger County by visiting the many sites and historical areas. Pictured Rock National Lakeshore is one of the many more popular sites to visit. Pictured Rocks Lakeshore can be visited by land or by taking the Pictured Rocks Boat Cruise. Many beautiful waterfalls are also available in the Munising area. Alger Falls, Munising Falls and Horseshoes Falls to mention a few, are all a short driving distance of each other. Interested in Golfing? Munising has that too, Pictured Rocks Golf and Country Club offers a challenging 18 hole golf course for your golfing pleasure. The area offers many more attractions. Shipwreck Tours offer a glass bottom boat to view actual shipwrecks and historical landmarks, Pictured Rocks & Grand Island Air Tours offer a breathtaking air tour of many shipwrecks, lighthouses, and of course Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore.

Weekly rental from May until October. Same rental rates since 1997. Family rent a house and 800 feet of sand beach. Close gate for awesome week on your very own oasis! I've been in Alger County for 10 years and still can't wait to be back to the great outdoors!

Check-In: 5PM, Check-Out: 11AM, Rent by week only (Sunday PM - Sunday AM), Lost Lake House accomodates up to 6 persons.

Lakehouse is fully furnished and sleeps 4-6 people - 2 single and 2 double beds

One of a kind private island. Only house on the island! Drive On road made by beavers back int he 60's. House is located only 800 feet away from water frontage.

Included in your weekly rental are all the comforts of home, including:
TV, Microwave Oven, Hot Water, Bedding and Towels, Laundry Facilities,
8ft x 8ft Sauna, 12ft Fishing Boat, Charcoal Grill, Dishes, Pots & Pans,
Silverware, Coffee maker, Toaster & Mixmaster

Great Fishing on Lost Lake - Sand Beach & Swimming - Food can be furnished for an additional cost

We accept money orders and cashier checks. Personal checks accepted as well with 30 day reservation.

Location This beautiful Lakehouse is located on 3 acres of prime lakefront property just off Federal Hwy. 13 to Buckhorn Road, then right on South Lost Lake Road. 5 minutes from Buckhorn Restaurant, 15 minutes south of Munising in the heart of Hiawatha National Forest on the Lost Lake. House Rules and Regulations:
- House is clean when you get here. We want you to left the house the same way you came and full deposit will be returned to you. If left not clean, we will hire someone to clean it. Expense will come out of your deposit. In the house are all cleaning facilities; washer/dryer, and as well sheets and towels. You save at least $100 by keeping the house clean. (you can bring your own sheets and towels if you want)
